Become a Friend of the Granada

In its early days as a movie palace, the Emporia Granada Theatre served the community as a gathering point for families and friends. Since the completion of our restoration in 2008, the Granada has once again become a keystone for the Emporia community and surrounding areas. From weddings to class reunions or movies to theatrical performances, the Granada Theatre has become a place for families to take their children or friends to reunite.

As we start our third year of operation since re-opening, the Emporia Granada Theatre Alliance is now offering an easy way to continue helping support the Granada Theatre by joining “The Friends of The Granada.” This is a yearly contribution that can be given starting at just $25.00.

This annual “Friends of The Granada” request is designed to help the operation of the restored historical Emporia Granada Theatre as a destination for educational, cultural, and social events that strengthen our community. The Emporia Granada Theatre Alliance truly appreciates your continued support and is excited to begin our membership drive.
